Currently, at Lenox, I worked on Warner Brothers, Wizard of Oz mugs, from which I was given complete artistic freedom from concept to design. For Witch of the East “Shoes to die for,” the famous “falling house” scene, I made less gruesome and more fashion-forward. For the “flying monkey” mug, I used the iconic red shoes, striped stocking, and flying monkey displaying the witch in a wickedly beautiful way.
